In the past week, I have been working on finishing the rig for the old lady so the my team can start blocking out the animation. My team wants to set a more aggressive timeline than what our professor has set for us so we can really focus on good camera angles and good motion in the acting and body mechanics of our characters' animation. We will try to block our entire film in the next 9 days.
I finished the old lady rig and it went a lot better than the Basil Rig. I ran into less issues. There are still some weird areas about the geometry that might mess with the look of the film in the future, specifically around her armpit areas, but I think the rig and model will do well for now.

For the oldy lady rig, we are planning on putting her in a old dress as well. That will be something I work on in the future. In the video below, it is showing a rig for the countertop that will help us keep consistent object placement for objects moving around such as the bowl.
This rig also has controls for the saloon doors and drawers that Basil needs to interact with. I have the items in the drawers parented to the curves so they will move easily inside the drawers as well. The larger drawer that moves has weird non-manifold geometry that might mess up some of our rendering and it is slowing down the rig. I wasn't able to find the bad geometry and I am not sure if this will be a problem in the future or not when we render, etc.
